Road trips to Ipoh enroute to Jin Ma Loan

Will be doing the above trip and leaving sgp in the morning and have lunch in Yi Bao aka Ipoh.

 

Other than the Ipoh chicken rice, fried bean sprout, white dumpling, etc, any bro like to recommend other yummy food?

you must try the dim sum in the morning, eat the ho fun in the night.

don't ask me what's the name.. i only been there twice.. usually is gf who brought me there..

 

just ho fun, i already ate 2 bowl..

on top of that, a mee and another fried rice.

The dim sum at Fu San is dirt cheap and pretty decent. Ipoh's bean sprout chicken is overrated, the bean sprout and hor fun are better than the chicken.

 

For me, I love Ipoh curry mee/hor fun. Favorites are Xin Quan Fang and Sun Seng Fatt.

Foh Shan for tim sum. Lou Wong for beans sprout chicken. Big tree for Yong Tau Hoo. Plus many more. However nothing much to do there as it is a very small and lazy town.

 

Cameron. Personally I don't like it and find that it is a waste of time becos the place is rather messy and there is nothing much to do. You can go up take a look to experience it yourself.
