i bought mine at aliexpress. A dual cam one for my rear recording as well as survelliance. Cheap and good. Come with external GPS also. Rear one dont need to be very tip top in my opinion. But front one i agreed need to be good. Rear one can capture rear knocking impact will be good enough. At least that bugger if touch wood were to kiss you is recorded down. That bugger will not have anything ot denied. [:p] [:p] Mine current set up for rear installed with power magic, so parking mode recording is avaliable.

:D :D good. after u DIY can share your experience here. :D :D

Have wired up the recorder. Not difficult to remove the plastic panel to conceal the wires neatly. My biggest headache was the selection of fuse to loop the wire. Second frustration was to ensure that recorder was indeed running as intended. Due to lack of viewer, have to perform many iterations on my notebook over long period. The stock memory car sucks as the lock switch keeps sliding down resulting in memory write error. Am waiting for the my class 10 memory to arrive. However, a point to note. The ITB-100HD does feel warmer than normal. Dun sure if this is good for memory card.

bro shock motion if not wrong is like motion detection. shock sensing is if touch wood some one knock you, the DVR will still able to record the shock impact. this is my opinion.

Hi guys I'm very keen to get this DVR after reading this thread. But there some issues that I would like to check

-set up time. I read it needs 20-30 sec before it start to record? Any issue on this? Is it due to GPS searching? I'm on vkool n I'm having hard time using garmin GPS as it always can't find satellite. Do u guys think this cam will not record if no GPS is found?

-parking mode. I'm sure that this is all the worries we have. Does the gadget to prevent battery from draining really helps?..if we do not want to activate so the camera will stop record thus no battery power will be use ya? Able to install a switch or we simple off the cam? Just worried that the batt lifespan will b much affected

Hope u guys can assist in this

bro the uninterrupt power purpose is to prevent the car battery from draining, i personally have been you this for 9 months. till now the battery is still strong and on going. no need to install addtional switch. If you are really worry that the uninterrupt power will drain you car battery u can always set it up as just a recording DVR while driving only.. and not installing it as a survelliance camera instead.

For setup time, where do you get the info that it needs 20-30sec before it start to record? once you power up it will start to record. I guess this info that you mentioned is not correct.
