TVT Supercharged June 30, 2013 Share June 30, 2013 my apologies , but what's with school starting on July 1st ? Because less people will be traveling on the NSH....so less chances to get summon or an accident on the NSH (I guess). ↡ Advertisement
Xefera 6th Gear June 30, 2013 Share June 30, 2013 if cannot overtake, then just stick behind. no harm done. anyway, it may helps improve fuel efficiency as lower drag due to shield from heavy vehicle in front
Xefera 6th Gear June 30, 2013 Share June 30, 2013 anyway, just to share experience with AES. was travelling through KL town during CNY and got snapped by 1. can see flash clearly in broad daylight. since then, been travelling in/out Johor several times but did not get stopped at customs to pay fine. not sure how the AES system works, but maybe fine collection is to be done within the state itself. have not travelled up to KL since the incident so not too sure. Voodooman Supersonic June 30, 2013 Share June 30, 2013 (edited) Er...how about those who just want to ride below 110 km/h, cos their cars can't go so fast, and they just (naturally) do not like drive so fast? I mean some drivers are just slow, even if they drive a super car. Do you also brand them as pussies? PIE is 90kmh max but trucks (max speed of 60) are allowed but not on the right lane. If your car or balls are not engineered for high speed, keep left. Pussies is a joke lah. i was saying 110kmh speed limit for NSHW is a tad too low for today's technology. I feel very safe crusing at 140 kmh when the highway is not congested at all. Edited June 30, 2013 by Voodooman

You need to pay for this one as it goes into a national database (unlike parking fines), not just KL. I have been advised by my Malaysian friends who don't pay for other fines and local traffic offences and I don't think you want to know of the consequences of non payment when you are next stopped along NSHW by the MIW. Xefera 6th Gear July 1, 2013 Share July 1, 2013 Just check via RILEK, no record of my vehicle number. from what I remember, there were some protests about the implementation of AES due to non-transparency it was around the CNY period if I am not wrong, so maybe that is why records were not retained. Zxcvb Turbocharged July 22, 2013 Share July 22, 2013 Based on the locations of the various AES speed cameras, most of them are in KL area and and some along the way to Ipoh and Penang. It's safe to say there are no AES camera between Singapore till KL area. But of course the usual mobile hidden camera are always readily to be deployed as and when.
