Forced ventilation is very important. Just go for KDK wall mounted. 25cm or 30cm for bigger rooms. Very effective to cool down even whole house.

I have a KDK ventilation fan in my toilet, used for many years already. But the frame is rusting due to all the moisture.

Need some maintenance to oil, lubricate the hinge, but I sort of lazy. 😀

To install the fan, I remove some of the glass panels of the window and added a panel to fix the fan.

Now, I have a moisture detector powered switch. I set the limit on when the switch is on and off, which regulates the fan on/off.

You diy? Was rec the kdk to be mounted on an acrylic sheet to seal up the window with the power linked to the light switch.

Yes, I diy.

Acrylic sheet would be nice. You'll need to measure and cut. Power can be link to light switch, but it also means they don't work independently, unless you put another switch.

As mine is hdb, with louver glass panel, I remove a few pcs of glass and the alum panel, then reverse it to mount the fan. Later found some acrylic pieces, (from fridge) someone threw away, and stick them on.
