Cheez, 1.5 years ago, a lot of things have changed !!! In today's pace, any biz dealing that is more than 2 months is considered as old and no longer valid

Anyway, just for sharing, 85D23LBHO $150. This is the 60Ah battery for Japanese car (not for conti).

Come to think of it, this the first time I buy car battery, the stock toyota battery is super lasting, used for almost 5 years.

so after 1.5 yrs 150 quite reasonable lor

ha ha paisay ar bro

but this a gd battery la

been using it like 7-10 yrs period

Last year i purchased a car battery. Bur after 6 month, the response of battery was not good. I concerned with my friend. He told me some tips about How can we maintain our car battery?

1. Clean the dust from your car battery on regular intervals, because it can cause corrosion

2. If you find any kind of corrosion in your car battery, use solution of baking soda to wipe it out

3. Clean the battery surface or case on regular intervals

4. Periodically inspect the battery for multiple varieties of damages like fluid leaks, shell cracks, etc

5. Keep you car battery always totally charged

6. Keep battery connectors like the wire clean

7. Keep terminals and wires tight to prevent entry of toxins in the battery and also ensure proper flow of electricity

8. To lubricate cables of the battery use Vaseline and petroleum jelly on regular intervals

9. Switch off music system, air-conditioner and lights, when it is in idle condition

10. Check the fluid level of the car battery on regular intervals to ensure full fluid level

All the saving from the tyre purchase will go into the thin air if during the battery replacement, the high current surge BBQ the on-board computer = a very big hole in yr pocket.

Precisely, don't be penny wise pound foolish.

If suay suay something happened to your ECU which cost thousand of dollars, do you think the shop will take responsibility?

Maybe we can list down the shops that use backup power while changing battery

- Guan Lee Tyre (change battery for 2 cars there), mr Tay automatically will use another battery to power the car thru' the 12V socket

If shops insists on carrying out tasks without using the right tools and correct method of operation, then if there is any damage(s) due to their doing, legally customers should be able to excercise their right to get them to replace or repair the damage(s) at not cost and also claim for lost of use of cars.

My Nissan Latio battery flat few days ago. Call up my insurance company and they despatch a mechanic. Bought a Amaron battery from him at $130. Think the price quite reasonable.
