they will attempt to check your fb and datamine it for details to bypass security questions... (ie name of your first dog la, mother maiden name etc) a lot of people dont think before they post their stuff on social networks sometimes ..

There was a time I got a call from a scammer who said I won a money prize in Hong Kong. She has a very heavy china accent. Told me need to go somewhere in HK to collect the prize. If I'm not in HK, I'll have to transferred a sum of money to an account.

So I told her... What a coincident, I'm in HK and I can be there in 10 min so can save on the transfer fee.... She hung up after that [laugh] [laugh] [laugh]

Lol,

I did purposely sent fake info to them, i.e my name is Mr Lee Kuan Yew or Mah Bow Tan....occupation National Suckers....some of them did reply back lol...that was yrs ago.

Unfortunately, there are actual living people falling into such tricks. Often, such victims are lowly educated and in desperate stage. I am not referring to those in Sunshine empire case. It is sad thing that in the world, countless of people rather cheat then work properly for a decent salary.
