Yapcc 2nd Gear July 15, 2013 Share July 15, 2013 I got my Cruze LS just beginning of this month. Mine is the facelifted version with the new fog lights. Just wondering, my rain sensor wipers doesn't seem to be working properly. Wipers failed to work even at moderate showers. Is there a way to make it work? Tried switching sensitivity to the highest but that didn't seem to help. ↡ Advertisement
Pisces69 6th Gear July 15, 2013 Share July 15, 2013 Cruze is not going to stop annoying u...hehe...when i reverse there is a friction sound coming out from back wheels....now my push start is giving me problem.... guess too high tech... seat hitting against the side creating some noise when driving...n i hv to adjust the hit in such a way that it wont hit the side...initially tot something is loose... overall still a nt too bad car... by the way, i saw Cruze in Australia but under Holden brand name... Chevy/Holden/Opel/Vauxhall all under GM group. My Optra engine is using the Holden designed engine. I think Opel also same.
Pisces69 6th Gear July 15, 2013 Share July 15, 2013 Wah. Really suay. I drove twice to Penang and once to Genting. So far so good. Touch wood. My neighbour, a PRC family, got the same car and so far so good. Besides this I am happy with FC for such a heavyweight. Ya basically Chevy is quite a robust n reliable car. My Optra already >7 yrs old n still no problems. Very quiet n smooth. Only problem is the parts can b quite ex if u get from Alpine or authorised stockist. Now I prefer to get from // importers. Much cheaper. I thinking of renewing my Optra COE in abt 3 yrs if the COE price comes to a reasonable level. Keeping my fingers crossed.
Jakku Neutral Newbie July 15, 2013 Share July 15, 2013 I experience the exact same problem except on the front passenger size. The sound is particularly heighten when I have a passenger with seat belt on. Have you managed to resolve it? Btw do we need to make a appt with alpine before heading down for servicing? If so how long in adv? I just gotten this cruze for a couple of months. TIA
