If our population 6million out of which 2million are FTs..will we see the same situation? Our desk bound police officers may not be able to contain the riots. [:/]

Human beings will not retaliate if they are treated properly.

If you like to ill-treat lviing things, even dogs will turn around and bite you.

That is what many of us don't understand, with regard to workers, maids, etc.

Sometimes, you don't really need to be ill-treated. You just need some stirrers to stir s--t that you are being short changed and the only way to get better benefits is to fight for it (literally).

And yes, please define ill treatment.

Look like China not the only place. The contractor May also be in breech in India

Apple Inc.’s effort to expand the manufacturing of its products in India ran into trouble after workers at a supplier’s plant rioted over unpaid wages, with many arrested for violence and vandalism.

Hundreds of workers stormed Wistron Corp.’s facility in the southern city of Kolar over the weekend, damaging the property and looting thousands of iPhones and laptops, according to local media. More than 150 people were arrested, the Times of India reported.

Wistron estimated damages at as much as NT$200 million ($7.1 million) and said it’s doing its best to resume operations at the factory. The Taiwan-based company has said the protesters are not its own workers, suggesting they may have been hired by employment agencies, though it’s not clear who is responsible for paying them. Shares fell as much as 3.4%.

Sounds familiar to what we had before. Although it's not about wages.

These people are living paycheck to paycheck.

Must be good reason for them to do so. Cos certainly the employer is not going to hire back someone who looted from them.

In this country, the law may not side with you as a common man on the street.
