Bros.. And Sis..

 

Suddenly I remembered my favourite childhood book series.. The Bookworm Short Stories.. Filled with some lame , some funny and some learning point stories.. I wonder if anyone here also used to read them..

 

If I am not wrong.. There was a stingy guy called Louie.. One Smarty,, then a Sam Seng..

 

 

Sorry.. This one for those born in 80's and above I think.. [laugh][:p]

 

Just random memories since I saw one of it lying of the floor.. [rolleyes]

I still remember its $5 a copy...

 

my pri sch teachers asked us not to buy bookworm books and read cos its crap.

 

 

There is also 1 magazine with a dracula as a character...forget the name

I have the whole set of Bookwork Science (experiment) and Bookworm Magic.. loved the short stories too.. ^_^

Company Died in the early 90s. I remember got clearance sale in their super ulu office, visit with parents but most of the things sold out by then.

I think thats vinny the little vampire from the young generation magazine.

wow. that's sad. used to be able to read when school library has them or friends bought. otherwise too expensive to collect. content vs price = not worth.

I thought they're still around in the late 90s? I remember buying my set in 1999...

I think they died in the early 2000s bah, when the 'computer' age starts to kick in

Yeah I bought during primary sch days, 1997.. managed to find a copy still lying around at home after all this years..
