You had 997.1 C2 right?

I would recommend 997 Turbo min. 991 onwards C2S minimum, never C2 even in 992.

I never drive up North so its 100% city driving in Singapore.

A turbo would be great but a C2 is good enough.  I always like no bulls**t base models

I'm one of few who appreciate the good service from Eurokars/Stuttgart Auto. After buying a fake porsche 5 years ago, they still send me calendars, ang pows and invites to events. I feel bad for not buying another porsche from them.

Yep. The curves of the 911 are always welcomed, too bad I have been staring at a white RR for the whole of Jan. 😣

Hello everyone, I am looking for a renewed or close to renewal COE Porsche. Prefer a 4 seater. Which model would you recommend?

Are old Porsches (>10 years old> reliable? See alot of old ones with a few past owners. Doesn't give me much confidence

Does the N/A 997 have the Mezger engine? I can't keep that sort of thing straight.

No, i dont think NA 997s can qualify as Mezger engines. But they take part of the design evolution of mezger engines.

Standard 997 C2, C2s very easy and mild to drive.  No mad horse feeling.

Confirm too mild for you. I test drove a McLaren and thought its too much for me. I get that kind of rush from Motorcycles

The standard 911 is really a good daily driver. Very suitable in Singapore where speed limits are so restrictive and space is so scarce.  Moreover affordable

Recently my front speaker (2012 Panamera) started vibrating that even when radio is playing and JD speaking, it also has the vibrating sound. Consistent vibration for as long as there is volume, and noticed it more when there is base in the music. The other speakers are fine.

Would anyone have a similar experience? Can you share what went wrong.

Thanks in advance!

No issues with my wife's 2016 panamera. You might want to bring it back to AD/workshop to fix the sound, since this is a daily recurring issue for you?

the price of 911 around the same as brand new bto lei. not really affordable. bto still can loan 25 years, 911 only 7 years. But again, i heard any car above $500k usually full cash 🤣

Am one of the poorer ones here

But, considering the value of my watch collection is already in excess of $500k, a car worth $500k is definitely affordable to me.  And i wasnt even referring to new one.  Just $250k-$300k

full cash settlement not an issue.
its just a matter of choice.
my idle cash position now can probably buy a brand new Turbo S

too much really but i dont like to invest for the sake of investing.  Or spending for the sake of spending.
😎
