Too much below is not realistic but a bit. 😁 While it depends on the exact model and age of the car, I wouldn't generally offer more than 20k depre on a newer (i.e. not classic) non-turbo. drivecarefullyme Neutral Newbie May 14, 2020 Share May 14, 2020 Does anyone know where to get used original porsche rims? Perhaps a local rim/tyre shop that might have stock laying around? I have seen some for sale online in the USA, but shipping to SG has to cost a bomb.

Vinceng Turbocharged May 22, 2020 Share May 22, 2020 (edited) Surprised that FlatSix is left out of the picture. Maybe not a sponsor? This was at least 10 years ago. I don't like Greg a lot, although Jennifer is OK. Andy was mainly doing air cooled restoration after that. Not sure what he's been up to of late.

Andy is nowhere to be found. As far as I know, Flatsix (for Porsches) and Autostrasse (for other makes) are run by Greg and Jennifer. I use different workshops for air-cooled and water-cooled . They are not mentioned in the article. Edited May 22, 2020 by sake

All I know is they charged me a heck of a lot for a PPI on a 997 turbo and found a ton of faults (so I didn't go through with the deal). But for all that money, the report wasn't very professionally done. They may be more keen on $$$. This, despite the fact that my dad (who intro-ed me) had a long standing relationship with the boss from Ngo Hock and Stuttgart days. My classic Porsche enthusiast friend swears by another place in Carros centre: First Auto. Look for Ah Fai or Robin. You can PM me for the contact. I've met them (I test drove a 996 manual turbo for sale at their place), very nice and competent chaps.my friend's blue 964 (up for sale now) was fully restored by them.

Yes, Ah Fai of 1st Automobile Services is currently taking care of my air cooled. Pleasant and knowledgeable chap. Just that i was told Weissach has good diagnostic tools for the modern water-cooled cars. Ah Wai has a good reputation.
