It's low bro. Even preventive maintenance. When you're comparing to an exotic like F or Mac, it's really much cheaper. Trust me.

Ah OK, I just jumped in. More caught up now. Yes older Ps can be more expensive to maintain than newer Ps. Worth it for something like 930 and 964 with real classic value but I wouldn't spend on a 996 (and I had one of these many years back).

Neutral Newbie

Am looking for a 997.2 turbo unit in good condition with a relatively low mileage. No dealers as I prefer to deal with the direct owner.

Drop me a message if you are looking to sell.

Not meaning to drench your enthusiasm but is your need so urgent that you'll meet up with strangers to haggle over a car at this crucial time when everyone is supposed to be practising social distancing?

I certainly wouldn't.

I guess as a doctor you are partcularly sensitive with the current topic just as i am highly senstive to financial market movements as an unemployed.

for him probably not so. He just wants his Turbo !  I can understand, although i would also discourage

Sorry, I don't think I'll leave it at that.

It's not just schools that are being closed but even one on tuition that's being disallowed.

The gahmen is sending a very strong message that we are not to meet others unless it's essential - and essential is really to be read as "necessary for sustenance, health and continued living" in my opinion.

So I still think going car shopping at this time is not just ill-advised but highly irresponsible. Because it undermines the entire point of the lockdown and the suffering of everyone affected by this drastic measure.

Ok, *now* I'll end with "to each his own". No smiley cos I don't think it's a smiling matter. Stupid behaviour doesn't deserve smiles.
