Engine number starting with LTA***

Hi all,

 

Viewed a second hand VW Golf over the weekend, car condition is generally good, price is reasonable and its still under warranty from VW Singapore.

 

Was checking out the vehicle's details at onemotoring and the engine code caught my attention, its LTA*******

 

The other models that I viewed previously all started with CAXB*******

 

The car and engine bay looks stock, is the difference in engine code something to be wary of?

Engine comfirmed replaced by agent,no big deal,maybe the old engine jammed.

Got so many suckers still looking for Volks car......later mechantronics or DSG gearbox got problem, then come to forum kao pei kao bu

 

Look for other cars la.....Volks so unreliable.....please dont end up like my cousin, bought a 11 jetta, less than 10K km, DSG go kaput, 30K, mechantronics.....the f u c k......

 

Go VSG to look at other Volks owner complaints.....i can almost guarantee that you wun take another second look at Volks again and move on to others. Maybe in 3 years time ba...

My friend ask C&C to import an recondition Mercedes engine a few years back,his engine number also LTA****,instead of M117****.
