Kb27 Supersonic September 11, 2012 Share September 11, 2012 They stupidly keep planting trees along expressways and major roads, so we just wait for more people to get killed.

However, imo, trees have no place along roads. Look at how many trees have fallen. How many must continue dying when the tree land on you ?

Altivo 3rd Gear September 11, 2012 Share September 11, 2012 Having seen how contractors prune trees, I'm not surprised that many have fallen during heavy rains / strong winds. If you noticed, the branches that are over the road tends to be chopped while the other side remains untouched. This cause the tree to be "off balanced" and the instability is at its greatest during heavy rains/strong winds.
