I dont see an "overkill" for tyres cause it depends how and where you use them.

Re001 and Re002 are good tyres though. I used to be on RE001. But after changing AD08, my confidence level increased too..

Strange, you asked me a question that you answered it yourself? Look at a similar tyre size and you'll know what I mean.

Brother JC , where got such thing s001 can carry higgher load than re002

tyre load can carry is determine by the SIZE and Load index marked after size.

for example a s001 tyre size 225/45/17 91w ans re002 225/45/17 91w same load index(91) so both tyres have the same capability of carry same weight of load

I feel like a noob here but the Star Performer UHP review at this UK site (http://www.tyretest.com/cgi-bin/rtp_review.pl?rt_rubrik=pkw_sommerreifen&rt_profil=103161102&pg=1) seems rather not that bad for a MIC tyre... comments? considering this and ze912.
