Inflation sets in.

I gave a beggar 40cts from my table and he asked for $1 instead (real case).

Kids know about price too.

My area also got a lot of old folks and vagabonds.....once I saw someone wanted to pass $1.50 to a homeless woman but the old woman rejected it.....she wants more....... [lipsrsealed][laugh]

This beggar was landed in this state should blame no one, didn't he aware that you had no obligation to give him a single cent?

I used to drop alot of coins into the carpets under the driver seat. I drove that car for 10 years.

The person who took over my car must have inherited a fortune.

depends. if need to remove grating / drain cover, dirty ur hands y touching sullied water (with phlegm, sewage), no nearby washin facility with soap, i think 20cts oso cant generate interest.

probably 50cts - $1?

I remember when in primary school once my friend need to make a call home but we were all out of change, canteen and bookstore were closed,

we thought we should to check the drains. Indeed, there were quite a few scattered in the drain along the basketball court. Remove the metal grill and took a few. :D

That meant kids back then are also not bothered to pick up coins dropped in the drain. Or never realised coins have dropped. Wallet or pouch was not really popular back then because we carry less than $0.50 in the pocket in primary 1
