STOMPer GeneralStomp says security staff at newly-opened Legoland Malaysia tried to force him to delete pictures he had taken of a train that derailed during his visit.

The STOMPer described the situation:

"I saw this scene at Legoland Malaysia today (Sep 7).

"About a week before opening, I was hoping the system would be well with no hiccups.

"I was in the same train earlier and luckily was safe.

"I hope no one was injured.

"Security prevented me from taking photos and wanted me to delete them from my camera.

"I was intimidated by them too.

"But I decided to share the picture here for all to take note that their security was high-handed although the park was good overall.

"Their desire to shut the public social media out made me want to share it all the more. This is not the way to threaten guests."

Went there yesterday. That is a slow moving train, unlikely anything serious.

Legoland seems to be bigger than USS. But rides tends to be more kiddy. My kids all enjoyed themselves more than the USS. For more thrilling rides, than USS will be better. The good things is now I don't have to drive all the way to genting anymore as I made the annual pass for the family.

this one probably target at pre-school children, for kids above 8 years old might not find them interesting.

You'll be surprise at the number of adults without accompanying kids taking that kiddy slow train..

Legoland do have a couple of more thrilling rides, like Project X...

Is it such a big deal that this kind of amusement park train derailed?? Not as if it's a roller coaster or something more dangerous...

Never mind, if Stomper is worried, please don't go, ever. I prefer the park to be less crowded [laugh]
