cov is a system tat only increases the price to dangerous levels.

right now, private property is stable as based on bank valuation and sale price usually lower.

The last transacted is 1.068M. I got the survey from ERA asking if 1.56M is sufficient.

By the way, to anyway interested. I got a unit at Tampines Court for sale and another unit 3 bedder at Ris Granduer for sale (tenanted till october next year for sale). Looking to sell either one to fund a new house.

PM me for anyone interested,

This shows that our KBW's policies are ineffective. He asked the would-be (young) homeowners to wait... at this pace, probably wait till they are all 40++ liao factory close shop liao loh! PAP really have to buck up!

Neutral Newbie

The price may be high for a HDB flat but the private housing alternative (an apartment the same size in a similar location) will cost two to three times more. There will no doubt be buyers who think it is a reasonable price.

HDB will always be HDB with no facilities, for the masses, family people, people who drive BAB cars or no car at all. What warrants 500 PSF for HDB when brand new 99yr condos are going for around 1k PSF? Though I would agree somehow that the costs are all relative.

Remember, when GCBs are sold for 100M (2k PSF) doesn't mean HDB prices must close in. It's all different categories! Private is for the speculators/rich who can afford to loose $$$ whereas HDB is for the masses who earn fixed salary.

HDB must be protected from speculation at all cost!

Some fun facts.

We pay one of the most expensive housing, but its on a leased land, mostly with a expiry date, we pay the most expensive price for our cars, yet we can only drive for 10 years....
