Where do you usually get your insurance quote?

Mine is expiring Oct 2012. Looking to learn more on best practice to source for lowest quote.

 

I know we can call in direct.....some also offer service to get quotation from mutiple insurance company at once.

possible. sometimes they play with the excess amount.

give you lower rate but higher excess.

Seldom but possible, if they play around with excess or other coverage.

 

I just got a renewal offer from my regular agent, for the best price being First Cap for my van.

Then I also received a unsolicited quotation from another agent for First Cap at exactly the same rate.
