I and my wife also going to Club Med Bintan end of this month for 5D4N. Booked in Feb this year at SGD$1575 nett with a deluxe seaview room. There was a Club Med promo back then. For those of you bros who wish to know more, go check out tripadvisor and pay particular attention to reviewers from Singaporeans especially (because all of us Singaporeans sama sama expectations one haha) http://www.tripadvisor.com/Hotel_Review-g2...s_Province.html

On a side note, I also went to Club Med Maldives in Feb this year. Enjoyed the Club Med experience so much that now I about to go again but this time round, it's Bintan. Here's my review at Tripadvisor about Club Med Maldives 6 months ago http://www.tripadvisor.com/ShowUserReviews...Male_Atoll.html

I have being to Maldives ClubMed and was told the price is almost the same as Bintan and Phuket.

the only price different is travel cost. Bintan was grade quite good according to the gentle officer (GO).

Of course, the sea water and view at different part of the world will be different if compare Maldives and Bintan.

Bro Shorty, I think you may have just missed the boat. Because I remember seeing Club Med's email to all its members that during the recent NATAS last month, they got a promo which I thought was quite good, something like pay 1 get 1 price, or pay 2 get 50% off... I have no kids, so I can't comment on whether Club Med charges adult rates for kids or half price for kids... Why don't you just drop Club Med an email or call their hotline to inquire further if you really keen?

if u do the sums, comparing to going to HK or BKK, it will come up to be the same la.

Air fare to BKK or HK, how much per pax?

Hotel, for 4 nights?

Food for 5 days?

and don't forget your shopping $$.......

it will add up to be the same............

Club Med is stress free, no need to plan or prepare anything. it's all been taken care of.

you go on your own holidays, you must book this and that, must plan, must see map, must walk, must worry about this and that...........

looks good actually... bau air tickets, free flow wine in lunch and dinner, buffet throughout the stay, and activities all planned.

of course, u don't go an calculate their rupiah/baht conversion...might as well plan everything your own.. which may end up more headache with screw-ups and paying more.

imo, its quite worth..
