Any Honda Stream owners facing the same problem?

Okay here goes, I have a honda stream (2007 model).

When I'm driving, everything is smooth.

Here's the problem, when at idle or stationary, the car's vibration (slight) is still bearable, but when the aircon compressor kicks in, my RPM would drop to about 600-700 and the entire car would rattle. If it's just a once in awhile thing, I wouldn't mind, but the problem with Honda is that the damn compressor kicks in every other minute. Although it has been like that for quite a while, it hasn't caused any problems but as of late, it has become increasingly irritable and uncomfortable to me.

Anyone out there has faced the same problem? Any ideas what might go wrong and how do I go about fixing it?

Much thanks.

My mileage is around 60k. 5 year old car.

When I switch off the engine and turn on the air-con, even when the compressor kicks in the car does not rattle and vibrate, only when the engine is on this issue surfaces.

Also to add, when I'm driving in the day and it's relatively hot out there, this rattling issue can get pretty unnerving.

engine mounts could be part of the problem. my civic is also the same. feels like someone gave the car a kick. next week swapping the engine mounts and monitor.

Honda magnetic air-con clutch is always problematic. might suggest that you look into it as well.

Same problem on my jazz. Just clean your throttle body and idle air control valve.

I'm driving an accord now and idling is not so stable, after changing the battery my idling is back to normal, could be a couple of reasons behind vibrations and unstable idling.

My old cs3 had this problem too. Cleaned the TBs, replaced the idle control valve thingy, clear fault codes all also didnt solve the problem. Sold the car off a while later.

U on ac without engine running , ofcourse no vibration as the engine got no load.

Cold engine less vib.., hot engine vib alot? Rhan Thats where the ac belt expanding when hot,no tension from belt to tensioner i"ll vib alot..

Its good to change belt too , since it about 60k

Whose on coilover suspension will cause the stock engine mounting to wear off even faster, to avoid it maybe change to a better silicone type mounting but a bit ex. So stay stock better.
