yeah lesson learnt.

 

I also will buy only from established sofa retailers in future.

 

i just anyhow say say only

you really bought from that sense art guy? [shock]

 

i just bought from lorenzo

i know is low end / mass production but they are around for some time already

and i dont have much money left

in renotlak, got one guy provided a list of reputable sofa makers

Somewhere towards the bottom

hehe yep.......Lorenzo is ok......

 

most times we consumers buy in good faith. meaning we expect the merchant to do the minimal expected of them ie deliver a defect-free product of the agreed specifications and deliver on time. and even if this 2 were not done satisfactorily, merchant can give some form of compensation.

 

but yet, many fly-by-night merchants, especially those in the furniture trade don't work on such a business ethos. so consumers should always beware that there are many such lowlife merchants around.

 

I have learnt to discard this good faith and pay more for established name.

13 years ago, i bought my sofa and leather bed from melandas

the sofa last me up to now but recently the leather chui already because i never put leather oil

really regret never go and maintain

the leather melands used was those big piece leather, not sewed together one

i know those big piece leather more expensive

the leather bed frame until now still in very good condition

really must maintain

actually I also got a bit of bad experience with the star living salesman attitude.

 

then as for OM, it was the brand for my previous sofa. quite good. however, I read with horror recently a thread in Renotalk regarding the bad experience with OM.
