Kindergarden teacher that ill treat kid... should be shot!

Don't talk c*ck lah .. when you say "almost all kindergartens", how many kindergartens have you sent your kids to ? Wrong means wrong, who cares local or foreign. Don't right a wrong just because its local.

 

You got children in preschool now? Between my 2 kids, I'd changed over 15 childcares and kindergartens. I visited at more than 100 around Singapore searching for a good one. Why I changed so many times is because of the sub-standard many provided. Even those charging high fees give lousy standards. I spent over $3k on my children's education and enrichments every month. If you don't know sh!t, keep your comments to yourself.

 

And when did I say there was nothing wrong if it's local? :angry:

i agree with you on the sub standard thing

 

really, sometimes i really question those whether they even qualify to teach as pre school teachers

 

they are not under MOE, they are under MCYS

i believe MOE teachers have better salary and benefits compare to MCYS

they might just take out on those kids out of frustration

Singapore has a very fast expanding preschool education scene. There is a huge shortage of teachers and many childcare operators are vying for them. So, many turned to PRC to fill up that gap, especially if they can speak proper chinese. For them to work in chilcare, they have to attend a few weeks course to get a cert. It is easy and a way out for childcare businesses too. Very often, standard suffers.

same situation for my son in N2.

the PRC seem to be more patient while the local form teacher always seem to be raising her voices.

 

anyway for this case, i thought there are always more than 1 teacher in their classes, why didn't the rest of them stop her?

I have been sending my 13 month old son to the Julia Gabriel Chinese class and the teachers are all young PRC women, very pleasant and very decent girls they are. My son loves them!

My boy's chinese teacher for his N1 class is also a PRC and in fact, she's the most popular teacher among the kids.
