Same thickness?? Ok... I just hooked up 2 wires to the existing one and installed 2x COB LED used for DRL. How is super bright!! Unfortunately, the wires got messed up up when I was loading my stuff in the boot the other day. Haven't got it fixed... I may consider your option if it is not too difficult to trim.

Thickess not a problem. I just trim the side. If its loose just use black tape to hold it. Edited by War3craft2003

Hi everyone...

Newbie here eagerly waiting for my Mazda 6.

Any thoughts about tinting a darker shade for the rear half of the windows? Is it still in 'fashion'?

Collected my car a week ago. Notice a soft "knock" sound when I go over the hump from the front suspension.

Is that normal? Recalled that I read somewhere that some Mz6 owners also encountered the same issue.

To be honest.. this is my only complaint about the car.

Anyway agent know the fix?

Of course, change the Lower Arm Bushes, usually after driving in the wet, this sound will come back, sometime after a few days of dry driving,it will be gone...

Wah lau... like that also can.

I realised the "knocking" sound is particularly prominent for the first couple of humps that I go over for each drive. Quite irritating that the suspension of a new car makes such sound....

I have the same wheel knocking sound problem with my FL M6

Complained this during the 1K service, they only lubricated it. after few days the knocking came back.

complained again during 10K service due my busy schedule. they told me they need to change the lower arm bushes but the parts need to be ordered from Japan. so waited for about 2 months.

while waiting for the part, I had to bear with the knocking sound every time going through the hump. after a while besides the knocking sound on the hump, I also realized that there is another knocking sound from after raining or car wash.

the hump knocking sounds " tock tock tock", the raining knocking sounds "kiak kiak kiak".

when the part arrived then sent the car to repair, now the hump knocking sound is fixed but the raining knocking sound is still remain.

will complain this again during the next service :) -_-

Mazdaconnect got new map update :)

Pardon my ignorance.. I went to the mazda connect section on mazda sg website but didn't find the mazda 6 option. I assume there is no difference whether is it mazda connect for mazda 3 or 6?

Hi guys, with the skyactive engine and start stop, seems to me like we're stuck with the AD for our maintenance.  Or are the alternatives?

Is the radio reception poor at basement car park & Tunnels ?

The reception is rather bad at certain sections of the KPE tunnel...

Also I find that the radio volume seems to be lower when the car enters tunnel. Anyone experienced the same thing?

Neutral Newbie

Hi eveyone,

I just collected around for around 3 weeks and i noticed a high pitch whine around 80-90km/h.

It dies off below 80 and less noticeable above 90.

Have done a search around google and found other mazda 6 drivers in other countries having the same experience.

Can check with any bro/ sis here on how to solve the problem if you all have encounter it?

Thanks
