I heard from my SE that the OMV for 2L Exec is around 23k. haha.

Shall wait and see the exact OMV if my car ever comes. Update then.

CEVS rebate for the 2L is still ultimately -10k. So the depre/year won't differ all too much from the 2.5L.

I calculated the 2.5L premium depre/year right now to be about 12.9k/year based on current price.

2.5L is sure tempting, but it incur higher road tax ($576 more per year, so its $5760 over 10 years), and higher petrol Consumption?

that's quite high considering the OMV for a 2.5L premium is 24k only.

2.5L FC I think from what this group is experiencing is no different from what a 2.0L consumes.

The 2.0L is bit underpowered, in city driving, if u like to accelerate briskly then i suspect the 2.5L may be a better choice.

2.5L premium onwards has iLoop also.

The depreciation is not very far off. So it's worth considering.

My 2.5 luxury can get 12.5km to 13km per litre

I only hoping to get 11km/L. Cos i don't do highways much nowadays.

Hello..

Seeking opinion from exper here..

Went down to test drive Mazda, in the end set my heart on Mazda 6

when i saw the 6 at their workshop.. There is no display unit at the showroom at Leng Kee.. Not sure why.. Did a test drive anyway and suit my needs..

Abit of background here.. 1st time car owner, getting a car as my newborn is arriving end of this year.. Also to ferry my aging parents around.. hence 30mm legroom at the back is relatively important..

SE quoated me 125K for basic with current COE price.. Includes solar film, GPS and camera..

Is the price alright? As i dont really need the car urgently, not sure if the timing is right as its 4K lesser based on COE price.

But SE told me he is matching last bid price..

Can anyone advise?

If don't need car urgently, I will wait until end 2015, 2016...

OMV for 2.0 Exec should be slightly below $20k ($19700 if I recall correctly).

OMV for 2.5 around $25k

AD not making much based on OMV, is AD servicing expensive?

You need to factor in the CEVS when calculating profits of the AD too. After doing so, I believe the margin should be around $20k.
