Maps has no voice navigation. You need apps like Sygic.

If using iPhone to run sygic after the trial period still able to continue, android need to pay after the trial period. And download mapking to use on android sony smart phone...unlimited and the picture is good and battery consumption acceptable

Todate, the best GPS for me is WAZE. Realtime traffic condition + TP presence. Traffic condition including weather report especially on NSH.

That's the pwr of crowd sourcing.

Why don't you call up Garmin enquiry line to ask ? Or check its website? Maybe there can find some guide or user manuals....

I am using Garmin 3XXX series. I can search Singapore postal code by entering the code eg 123456 in the "Find Place" category. Malsing map.

For road name you have to fin under "Find Address". Not all house numbers are in the data base, so sometime I just key in any number (or blank) and it should still work. Only problem is the inconsistent naming system (e.g. Jl, Jln, Jalan, Ave, Av, Avenue etc). So don't key these in and let the device suggest.

You may need to uncheck the other maps.

I second this.

I do have a in-car GPS with my headunit however, I have the WAZE with me which is pretty helpful and useful as well.

Hypersonic

When you're use to updating maps from Malfreemaps and Malsingmaps for Singapore and also the occasional borrowed friendly maps for other countries, Garmin is my choice.
