Told you all OPC people liao. There's a lot of discrimination against OPCers whether on the roads or in the forums.

 

May I suggest that all OPCers just convert to normal plate and flood the roads.

Thanks man. This is really encouraging. There are situations, 'real' sincere genuine situation that people 'forget'. In may, I drove for 8 days and I bought all 7 days except 1 day. My Stupidity. Is that good reason and i will remember in future to buy before drive? The 5000 is what think. Is that true?

I give you the benefit of the doubt that you lost track of how many days of driving. In future you keep a log book and record your driving so that if you happen to forget again (if there's one time there will be a second) at least the judge see that you keep a log book. Maybe he will see that you are not trying to cheat and he will let you off with a minimum fine.

Got three times forget buy

1st time fine $500

2nd time go court and fine $1000

3rd time got that 3 day rule thing so pay only $30

 

Sold my opc ride and no need worry about these now...

Not because opc drivers chao kuan or what sometimes busy really do forget...somemore the cutoff timing is next day 2359

The sentence seems to be very cheap. So many offences and yet only S$17500 fine.

We had seen many RED plate owners kana fine more than S$15000 just for 1 time offence.

rule no.1- shut up before the judge and say yes to the charge. Any xtra words from your mouth will cost you more....i am not joking or trying to be sarcastic.

OPC is good only if you dun drive in peak hour.

With traffic congestion on the road now stretching from before 7am to well after 9pm, the authorities should relook at OPC hours. Perhaps they can be allowed on the roads during the day from 10am to 4pm BUT they cannot be on the roads from 6am onward till 10am, and similarly frpm 4pm till 9pm.
