How long are you expected to be there?

maybe every 2 weeks go there 1 week

Seriously, you need a tailor made package for the right candidate.

cannot find, either too young no experience

or

got family commitment cannot go

Precisely my point, you need to find a suitable candidate first then tailor make a package to entice him/her to go

No point talking about salary expectation before candidate is found

Salary expectation is not the main issue

Because job scope 4 is the most leveraging, by taking the lion's share of the under table monies

hi hi,

just want to check, how much would 1 expect to get for stationing in Myanmar.

job scope is to

1) supervise the day to day operations

2)ensure local sales persons go to meet targeted clients

3) ensure clerk place orders to HQ before stocks goes low

4)ensure local sales don't take too much under table monies

5)expand the local market

6) report on local grey market

R u looking for a GM or Country Sales person?

R u looking for a GM or Country Sales person?

a country manager cos the sales volume and customers base dont really justify him to be there all the time.

but needs to have experience in overseas operation

it a norm there,

the sales person take a cut with the reseller and jack up the price to the retailers.

they clinch the deal cos the give some to the purchasing guy from retailers

but consumers find our prices higher than grey market .

cant change their culture

Why not just open a retail outlet and sell directly to end consumer?

we got our own considerations but opening own outlets now is not viable

Just to share, just last week, i have a collegaue left the company after his contract to work overseas ended and there are no relevant position left for him to return to our hq. He was from hq and went oversea branch 4yrs ago. This is one important consideration which was brought up earlier when I ask about the overseas work attachment.. Will your current position be available if you wanna come back?

that's why if posted overseas ... the income must be at least 50% more + benefits

in terms of future opportunities during or after the overseas stint is one to seek and grab

but in terms of risks ... why take the risks if the money is not good? [sly]

i got a buddy posted to Dubai for a short stint, come back resign and went to Dubai ... lol

Why cannot sell CFR Myanmar or fob Singapore to resellers there?

Save the trouble of opening an office there?

Products need a lot of tech support?
