Joke joke, but one thing you don't know about me is, I honestly pity the women in such trades, many are forced into such trades against their own will, some loose money, in gambling, get sold out by their so called boyfriend, husbands, do it because they need money for their parents, some for their studies, endless reasons, not lame, many are very true, tell me something, who in their right mind would want to do such a low and filthy job? No women would want to, if given the choice. I never look down on them, and form the bottom of my heart, I pity them. Women who have husbands to take good care of them sometimes don't know how lucky they are, same goes for husbands who have good wives. Some fact: Many of these women never live a normal life after, I was in the US for many years and you would see this famous (porn) actress commit suicide, car accident, drug overdose etc.. and they all were very beautiful. I better be damn well sure I'm able to earn enough there to retire here. Retiring in Japan is never an option.... However, in life, there was never a best choice around for you to choose.... I'll just have to choose the best option given to me at the moment. Ideally, I'd like to go to Aussie.... With my wife income alone can survive and retiring there is much more possible, but I still have folks to take care at the moment which I don't see them willing to go over. Having worked at Philippines for 3+yrs and another 3+ years while wife is still Singapore all alone by her self, what I can share with you that its not healthy for relationship, eventhough I am granted an air ticket back to Singapore every month. Just ask yourself, who will be there for you when you are down and out? For me, its my family, that's why quit the jobs and now back in Sg but still have frequent trips out. Hope this help. I was offered a job in government linked agency with salary that could match my current salary, which is beyond my expectation due to lack of paper qualification. They accepted me because the one who appraise me knows me way back and he was the one who chio me to join. However, it is contract based (2 years). I was assured that ALL staff nowadays are on contract basis. Even my wife who is a nurse says so, though she is not in such scheme.... What do you guys think of contract basis? Not sure about in Gov sector, but for private sectors, its very insecure. They are first to let go at first sign of trouble, & you do not get full benifit of full time stuff. If you get your current pay, why bother anyway (unless you did die have to go oversea if you want your current job), unless there is something you like about the new job. I have not follow up, but whats stopping you from bring your family along? It may not be a negative for your children growth as well, as exposure to other culture & living out of home can be very helpful when they grow up & need to work/do business oversea, & give them bigger perdpective of the world at large. As I read through, I was given all the benefit just like a perm staff... Leave, medical, insurance, AWS, variable bonus... everything except that it is called a contract. I can't say that it can be guaranteed as I suppose it depend very much on performance and I suppose they want it contract basis so that in case they want to change direction, they can cut stuff easier with lesser baggage. I just I lost the drive working here due to a few factors. I would agree with you about bringing family if it is some western country but not Japan....
