Supercharged

i encountered someone like that during the course of my work .. during biz lunch .. i also thought he was a bit crazy until someone else told me when the guy was growing up he was very poor .. sometimes cant even eat ... then now cant bear to see food get wasted (thought i think the person telling me was hinting to me it might be a psychological problem already ...)

Its not uncommon in overseas. Probably we are too spoilt in SG

My partner has encounters in US before with US colleagues. These are not poor people, highly educated and well paid jobs. They go lunch , example Chinese food. They literally take plastic bag and pour the leftover sauces or gravies or whatever leftover, to bring home for dinners. [crazy]

In SG, will we ever do that? Too spoilt........

Anyway, we are proud of our sis..... I have learned how to be tactful in this kind of situation

Ok.....PRC lady....you also will be blessed with good karma.....good gesture...you are not one of the typical lousy FT that we had here... [:p]

Every country has its own share of good and bad citizens. Went to China afew times, there are friendly and helpful people as well as reserve ones but once they know you, they treat you nice. Cannot expect much from migrants' attitude. What do we expect from them if they are here for a purpose ? Even in their own homeland, their attitude is "dunno what to say"..
