Desmond Kuek has been appointed as the new President and CEO of SMRT.

 

He was the ex-Army Chief?

He was CDF before leaving SAF.

 

Confirmed liao? No news outlets reported it - and no press release from SMRT?

i wonder what can he do?? he has no industrial experience and is facing a very unforgiving public.

maybe he is brought in the boost morale and run everything like army?

He's in for a rough ride. Saw had no prior experience as well when she was appointed [;)]

President of Train division only right? SMRT President sounds weird as an appointment.

I'm sure he can activate the whole army and hand them cable ties when there is any breakdown. Fasterer and bestester than activating technicians. [;)]

CB lar you..... army where got so no standard use cable tie.... they use rope.... [laugh][:p]

Saw was brought in, when all is ok, to make profit, she did it very well.

Now SMRT kenna for her job well done <_<

he can work with Army to make book in time at 10am and book out time before 5pm so that NSF and Nsmen will not fight for space in MRT.
