dunno about RX350 but usually people either go for Rx270 or RX450, usually these cars sell quite fast compare to other suvs

Tiguan is a no no for me, very ugly especially the interior. prev model of touraque also nice to me as its big and like strong suv, new one more modern and size like RX. they share same platform chasis with cayenne.

Range rover FC is good, though diesel but engine like petrol one, power is there, design is there, feature is there, comfort and sportiness is there as well!

Really? I thought rx350 is more popular coz more powerful. The market has more rx350 for sale as well. Ya tiguan interior is really too basic but selling at premium price. Tourague is huge. I sat in the new one before and think it is like a tank.almost like Q7 and i feel bigger than the rx. I hvae looked through the old tourague and find the steering wheel a bit weird. like too big and the shape is too boxy also. New one is much nicer.

How much u bought yr rx450 and what is the depreciation?the calculation is different from normal petrol if i am not wrong.

i bought it 2nd hand few months back, its a 2011 and i bought it for 220k, pretty cheap compared to market value because the owner is my friend's friend. Depreciation count i'm not sure but about 30-40k per annum. Hybrid has slightly higher dep compared to normal thats y i bought the used one :D

RX350 more powerful? thought the hybrid will produce more additional HP during acceleration(stated in website)?

old RX i dun like the front headlight, interior wise can feel the luxury. RX tank quite small to my surprise, using V power last 4-5 days and cost $105 after using Shell card and UOB card disc. compared to the A8 which is $180 [knife]

Turbocharged

Captiva i only tried for one day but lexus i driven for 2 years already. I am afraid what if I change to captiva then tired of it after driving a while?

I am not a performance drive person so slower acceleration is ok for me but not sure if i will regret my decision. I am not too sure abt captiva maintenance as well though

LOL... i changed from SUV back to sedan [laugh] [laugh]

Preferably wanted a 7 seater. I like SUV coz of the size, the height. The feeling of sitting high is good. Then head wun knock the top easily also. Legs can sit at 90 degree compared to sedan. I buy SUV not to go offroad though

I considered few SUV before it is out with the reasons as below.

RX300-Current model depreciation is high and is outdated to the latest facelifted. It is like not too new for that kind of depreciation and not old enough for a good buy. Latest facelifted interior and exterior is very different. The previous model 2003-2007 i wanted to buy before but coz the interior armrest dont is not comfotable and got many poser harrier that looks the same

BMW-Out as the interior is quite LQ for the pricing

Q5-my favorite but now all the pricing are unreasonable.deprecation at 19-20k even for three year old car.

Murano, CX5, CX7-dont really like the look

Captiva looks decent even though the pick up is slow

Anyone got any other suggestion?

XC90, cannot go wrong with that [thumbsup]

If you are driving in SiN, I think Captiva is the most value for money.

The other SUV also good [:)]

Yup, i think so too. Decent looks, big size(7 seater). The only bad is the acceleration but i can bear with that

Oh 220K is very expensive to me. Is yours a color display or those monochrome

YR hybrid is definitely more powerful, I mean rx350 is more powerful than rx270.

Maybe yr RX is not meant to be so reliant on petrol but more on the electric so they dun need a big tank :D

Currently i am driving a GS300 but i find sedan boring. The only reason I bought it in the first place is the brand, the smoothness and quietness of engine and to try out luxury car. Now i tried driving a captiva in australia and love SUV(i have always love SUV). Like the height, the hugeness. As i am quite tall, SUV height is also more comfortable.

Now i am in dilemma should i sell trade my GS for Captiva? Seems to be a downgrade. Any advice anyone?

RX350?

I drove a fortuner for 5 years, love the size, height. It's really a solid car, very stable even at 170km/hr. however there is a setback with some hdb carpark due to the height and FC is very bad at high speed Presently the only SUV that can clear all hdb carpark is X6.

WOW.. 170 on Fortuner.. Damn.. I 150 on Vellfire already scary le.. haha...

but its one year old, quite worth compared to current market. Mine still monochrome as mine early 2011 one.

I dunno about other RX fuel tank but i'm satisfied with my car [laugh]

The current toyota cars still scary when they travel above 150? [:/] I know during the early 2000, toyota cars can "float" when they travel in high speed.

Among most SUV, i find fortuner really good. I like this SUV cause it looks tall and big, seems like very safe driving one. But i dont think this SUV can travel fast cause of the tall height.
