Apparently the insurer don't want to pay since it is a "collision" and not an "accident"

 

If you put aside the anti-tiong sentiment for a while, what do you think of insurer's actions? If they get their way, will it set a unhealthy precedence for future accidents?

 

Or maybe they know the real reason why Ma Chi cheong the red light but cannot say. :ph34r:

Seems like more and more stunts by insurers...

dun insure drunk driving is stupid... and now dun insure collision...

knn... might as well dun buy insurance in future then...

as someone who has been screwed by insurance companies ... not surprised. they must have been praying he was drunk, and when it was found that he wasn't ... they quickly dig through the contract to see how else they can avoid payments ...

unethical for insurance company to do that. so next time we get insured, we should get ourselves a thesaurus and get all the synonyms included? [hur]

my opinions... seems to be trying to wriggle way out of compensation

 

even if ferrari is a collision... to the taxi.. it is defintely an accident

No stories on what happened?? What did the girl say about it? Or was she gagged by notes from Ma family??

 

We were just talking this morning on whether the family will compensate the victims' family out of 'goodwill' if any?
