Replacing Brake caliper piston O ring

Hi, my neighbour's 6 pot brake calipers having slight brake fluid leak from the piston area. Most likely due to damage rubber O ring seal within.

Anybody got contact or know of any wkshop that can repair brake caliper or hardware store that sell various/custom size rubber O ring.

Check out ebay for caliper rebuilt kits.

They are car model specific and what you will get are the rubber seals and metal rings to hold the seals in place.

 

I got mine cheap and paid my workshop labour to rebuilt my calipers.

I have no idea abt the 6 pot calipers. But for most hydrauluc eqpt, most of the time we can get a generic replacement from hydraulic parts shops.

But you must remove the parts, or o rings.

Sometimes, they can recommend better synthetic materials, such as viton, for higher temp n pressure resistance .

 

Once or twice, I ever encountered workshop mechanics carried brake pumps,parts at this shop.

Most of repair kit on ebay or online spare part shop were mean for the usual brand like brembo, ap racing. Guess not easy to find repait kit if its less famous brand.
