Skyline R34 Gtt

If its not GT-R, its not worth to even a look, in my view. Just get the GTR35 leh.

The guy looking at GTT leh... firstly its R34 and its a Skyline. The new GTR is not a Skyline anymore. Secondly, the GTR are like over 200k still in SG? But the GTT I saw on sgcarmart only 60k. Cannot compare like that mah. But seriously lah, if I got the money I wouldnt bother with the 35GTR due to the maintenance. My choice would be a R34 GTR M-Spec Nur.

Yeah, if the service is so ex, I rather get 1 evo 9 for track only and 1 evo x for street drives.

Erm... if the GTR they are talking about is the 35, you're not making sense by comparing your service to it.

The GTR isnt exactly classed the same IMHO.

I don't think this is a fair statement. There are people who appreciate the GTT more than the GTR because it is a full time RWD car. Without the ATTESA, either you love it or hate it, the GTT is lighter than the GTR which is well known for the heavy weight.

The gtt is 1410kg, a gd 150kg lighter than the bnr34.

Maybe u can still find that in australia but definately not in singapore. No M spec nur ever came into singapore, and the difference is only leather seats, softer suspension n the millenium jade colour..

150kg light but much lesser power and harder to mod for power. Oh and for those that doesnt know, R32 GTR can be put into RWD mode by pulling a fuse and R33/34 can be done by disconnecting a plug and stepping on the brake 5 times to disable the AWD.

Wiki will give you most details of the M-Spec Nur. Oh. It doesnt only come in Millenium Jade even though thats a known "Nur" colour. All the 1000 Nurs (250 M-Spec and 750 Vspec 2) come in varies colours.

Aiya I wouldnt have the money now lah. They should still be in the range of 80-100k. 400R would be good too but the last one I saw 3yrs ago was sold for around 110k.

not really carrot brother. i know im paying about 10-20% higher than the bros who bought PI .. but I feel better servicing at Tan Chong (and for my peace of mind). when my gtr gearbox died .. they airflew my gearbox in within 2 days and got me up and running shortly thereafter. if you check up on GTR tires, you know for example, there are very few we can choose from. needs to be special "knurled" tires ... cheapest I have seen is about $650/pc for fronts.

Hi Bro.

Are we talking about Melvin GTR specialist salesperson from Tan Chong? If yes, then really solid guy. Agreed.

was referring to eurosports auto (lamborghini) Melvin bro .. but yes Melvyn from TC is the f--king man! he sold me my gtr as well ... i love that guy :D

Evo have 4 doors, and sit 4 persons comfortably, and more boot space.

If one sets his mind for performance, the numbers of doors are not in consideration.

Face it, a evo will be always a evo whereas a gtr will always be a gtr. There are so many other things other then the number of doors. One thing for sure, those who can afford a gtr will probably have 1,2 or even 3 4 doors at home. Its all abt preference.

if the gtr is the same price as a evo, I wld gladly take the gtr A.N.Y.T.I.M.E and buy another 4 door if I shd need one

Now become merc?? In this case why not lexus? Forget abt bmw or other conti coz lexus has very low maintainece cost.

U said it, MOST ppl. And ppl who drive a gtr does not belong to this 'most ppl' group.

Not contesting GT-R is of higher performance, the price is already an indication. But to say why get an evo when you can get a GT-R is not always the case. Different stroke for different folks leh. Some like all round cars, just like some people like to carry all in one devices, over different purpose build equipment.

No right or wrong. It is true that GT-R is a different level in terms of performance, but performance isn't everything. For instance, the GT-R is a bit wide, & where I live, its a chore, as the roads are very narrow.

A few years ago, I was like I got to get the GT-R, if only I can afford! I even join NAGTROC, look about all the tune option, do research, break down the money for modd; when I thought I can final afford one. Its not hard, when you moved out of Singapore. haha

But once you can afford it, something strange happen, you suddenly think about other choices also, or wonder if you should even get one, & look at it on an more objective view.

Its similar to when one is young, & say, if I grow up, I gonna buy this that I cannot afford as student. But when you start working & have the money, you did not buy it, for various reasons.

While I have huge respect for the performance & engineering, I cannot convince myself to get one. I did not get the evo X also, as I cannot stand the rather low quality interior (Mitsubishi are very bad in making interior) & never get pass the exterior look. The look of the GT-R is also a factor why I am not that gaga over it.

Anyway, my new favourite is the new Covette C7 stringray. Now that's one complete sport car package, great looks, finally a good interior, & massive power & Torque, & a reasonable price. If I am not doing too badly, I may get one in the next years.

How can one resist this:

True to certain extend also lah as everyone's different. I'm one of those that doesnt like the fat girl. The GTR has never worked on me, something like the RX8. As said previously, I wouldnt buy the 35 GTR even if I got the money.

Corvette are nice... but for that money I will take GT2 or 3... Ever since the facelift of 997, I'm in love with the fancy colour combination and raw interior trim of the GT2/3

Whats your 1/4 mile time? If its only straight line, dont really need to bring to SG what. In fact, if you've been on the drag, I'd say drag strip in Asian probably gives you an advantage being hotter thus making your tyre stickier.

Also, I think you've mis understood my previous comment. I dont mean RB25 arent capable of high power but it cost more to make them. Not to mention being less reliable unless you've got a built engine (or even with forged internals), this means more money too. RB26 can run safely at 300-330awkw on stock... can the RB25 do that?

Anyone know the engine in the advertised gtt is rb25det or rb26dett?

I still cant really tell.

Go see the car lah. Unless you're blind, the 2 turbos will be obvious if its an RB26. Also, unless its got an engine coversion (not sure about legalty in SG), it will be a RB25 NEO for the GTT.

There is a massive different in price between the base corvette & the GT2/3 variants. The Corvette will retail from 69.000€ (that's about s$115,000)

U said it. Performance isnt everything. So is convinience. Like i mentioned, its all abt preference.

Not saying evos are not good, but i for one will not compare the maintainece wif a gtr. Nor will anybody in their rite mind will. Everything comes wif a price.

Nice choice of car u hv there. But over here in sg, even owning a run of the mill nissan sunny is expensive. Lol.
