I post somewhere, my LG phone can block calls (without additional app) based on Digit filters. So I get calls from +659... and +658..., I just add accordingly when they come. Now I don't get such calls anymore, they are all blocked.

I thought this was standard, but I checked my wife's Samsung, it doesn't have such Call blocking. Thus needing an extra app.

Because +65 might not always be scam. It could be overseas call centre who called u regarding a genuine issue. Now most companies outsource call centre overseas...

+65 calls are getting quite frequent, 1 every 1 to 2 days.

The legitimate numbers are also displayed as +65...

If I block all +65, will my friends in whatsapp be blocked too?

That's what I thought - if we are overseas (eventually after the lockdown) and there is a legitimate call from Singapore, will it be blocked since it should display +65...?

You don't apply +65 block on whatsapp. You apply only on regular incoming calls, not data calls.

As usual, just get a friend to test it after you apply the block.

i am doing very high precision construction job. Very heavy loads have to be dropped in very precise load receptacles

cant have clowns calling me while I am on. a Load dropping run

Can’t those computer people writes a code like this:

if connected to sg network or

If gps = sg

action: divert All 65 calls to 999

Otherwise condition: up to you to select:

1) play jap serial soundtrack

2) play USA serial soundtrack

ICA warns of fake SG Arrival Card website, police report made

SINGAPORE: The Immigration and Checkpoints Authority (ICA) warned on Thursday (Dec 17) of a fake SG Arrival Card website that is phishing for the personal particulars of travellers arriving in Singapore and requesting payments of US$30 for submission of the card. 

The website, www.singapore-arrival-card.com, "claims to be the electronic arrival card introduced by ICA to replace the paper disembarkation/embarkation card", the authority said. 

"We would like to clarify that the official SGAC e-service by ICA does not require travellers to make a payment to complete the online submission. 

"ICA takes a serious view of such fake websites as they undermine public trust in our system and processes," the authority added.
