anyway, at where i work, i get free ST and BT, so that's why i dun bother. [bounce2]

 

Only part for me that is impt is the page opp the sports page...,hahahahahaha...many many photo one

Dont forget, MCF & HWZ and many other forums belongs to them.

 

Without them, we wont be able to surf here happily.

 

They even came out with a apps "Trezo" selling rubbish. [lipsrsealed]

I prefer hard copy.

 

Cos I want to see the NTUC, Cold Storage, Sheng Siong etc advertisements clearly and can cut coupons if necessary.

Tell wife to cancel the subscription, she said if wake up don't see newspaper like short of something. Just like 26 Dec.

Old people got nothing much to do.

Some of my friends read ST to see/ read Obituaries/ Deaths  to see who :a-rip: , But I think people whom read ST are mostly in their 50's and above

From 1 March 2016, we will be rolling out a new set of subscription plans. The new price of a monthly All-in-One subscription – which includes our print, online, smartphone and tablet offerings – will be $34.90*, up from the present $28.65* a month.

 

If you are not on a fixed-term contract, we are pleased to offer you a special discount for the All-in-One package at $29.90*# monthly that will come into effect from 1 March.

 

If you are currently on a fixed-term contract, you will continue to pay the present subscription price for the remainder of your existing contract.

Yeah... I got this message by email today.... "Dear Valued Customer" it seems...  I don't feel very valued...

 

I subscribe to their all-in-one package but have constant popups of ads in my browser and phone.

 

Only reason I still keep it is 'cos my dad wants to read the hardcopy every morning.

When in Singapore, very easy to criticize the Straits Time and make fun of it.  But when travelling overseas, I was so happy to be able to get copies of the Straits Times.  This was on a cruise in the Mediterranean.  Like it or not, reading the ST gave me a warm feeling of home.
