Timbuktu Clutched August 2, 2012 Share August 2, 2012 Yah, need only look at the Olympics medal tally of the 70-80's and earlier. Who dominated? USA, USSR, GDR (E.Germany), FRG (W.Germany), UK, Australia usually the top few. Among Asian countries, only the N.Koreans and Japan could match, but only in certain games. Now we have China sweeping medals in table tennis, diving, swimming, etc. Plus S.Korea. Not counting all the foreign imports of European nations, who are of Chinese descent. Anyone noticed that the 2 Australian women's diving coaches are both Chinese? The eastern-looking Russian archers (probably western Mongolians). Prolly the ang moh nations find that hard to accept? Expertz 1st Gear August 2, 2012 Share August 2, 2012 and interestingly, it happen only to the Koreans. another thing i damm piss is that Ang Mo coaches keep saying that China's Ye Shiwen win in the swimming heats are no real feat... sometimes I really wonder if the Olympics should pledge that no racial discrimination is needed during the games at every opening ceremony. http://sg.sports.yahoo.com/news/doping-row...23306--spt.html sceptics who point to the litany of drug scandals which dogged Chinese swimming through the 1990s. here, no racial discrimination involved at all the chinese have nothing to complain about. once a cheat, always a cheat. Expertz 1st Gear August 2, 2012 Share August 2, 2012 Because China is traditionally not strong in swimming, a sport dominated by the USA. So they are technically correct in saying that the China win is no mean feat. don't forget to mention that she didn't just win, she won by a mile. even beating the men's swim team!
