Moving Contacts from iPhone to Lumia 800

Loads of information out there. For those who have done it, what is the best way?

what i did was transfer everything to .csv, import to window live account. then the phone auto update once you register your windows profile in the phone.

Since u r using lumia 800,

 

a) If u have outlook, download outlook hotmail connector and u can manage the contacts easily on your desktop.

 

b) Else download your CSV + use iTune to Syn 1 time with Windows Live using iTune using the steps below

** remember to also try out skydrive as part of your Windows LIVE account. Great for transferring the stuff around/between phone and pc

Looks like iPhone have lost it lust. I am seeing quite a few switching to Lumia 800/900. Nice phone with super clear screen. Corning glass strong enough to survive a meter drop and scratches.

But i am microsoft Fanboi, so....

 

Okay the truth is, lack of apps is a problem, althought they actually reach the 100K milstone faster than Andriod.

but hack, they have the best apps build in. Office for Mobile.

A totally different interface which needs an OPEN Mind to experience it :)

 

But do wait for the windows 8 phones.....none of the windows phone in the market now can be upgraded to win8.

Yup. Much better than the old Nokia and Apple interface

the only problem for lumia is you CANNOT delete the photo that has been attached to the contact :wacko: :wacko:

old Nokias suck because of Symbian OS and their shitty hardware specs.
