Installed As800 for rm850 with wire kit. Not sure if it’s decent but seems ok for me. But I don’t like the wire open there. The guys Juz tied together using fabric tape or something. Seems thick for me lol

Currently using sandisk high endurance sd card and my 70mai A800S is throwing an error saying slow speed of sd card.

Which brand/range are you guys currently using?

Same sd card brand and cam model. 

Did you do a format? Mine will tell me sd card damaged. After a format, it behaved itself until the next tantrum. It happens once or twice a month. The formatting takes less than a minute each time via the apps on my mobile. 

I bought this to standby.

Thanks @PSP415. Bit skeptical if formating helps in this but will give it a try.

I do format once in a long while, but am wondering if the newer sd cards with seemingly faster speeds (but not endurance series) would be of help.

Why not drop dashcamsg a message to check? That is, if it's the same installer as mine. 

They very responsive and in my case, told me to get a free replacement of the sd card from Scandisk. 

Hope yours can be resolved soon as these days, a working car cam is important. Do update and share.

I bought my A800s from them also, but from Shopee. Can take advantage of the Shopee voucher/coins etc.

Bought for my dad a Marbella KRX during 11.11 from same installer. But somehow the dashcam mounting was missing during installation, not sure why.

Installer asked if want to upgrade to HIK-Vision G2 pro with $50 top up. Went ahead and I think it is worth it for that price point.

In the end bought the sandisk max endurance card to try. So far so good.

Also changing the rear cam to the latest RC12. This is so much better than the RC06 packaged together with the A800S front cam. Easy to install too since cable is compatible.

What’s the diff in picture quality for rc12 vs rc6. I have the rc6 that came with the A800s.

Pixel resolution is the same 1920x1080, but the image is just sharper. Sometimes I wonder if my RC06 is a faulty unit right from start.

Your main cam is A810? Doesn't it comes with RC12 as default? My RC06 with my 1st Gen A800 seems ok, doesn't seems so pixelated as yours.

Anyone tried installing the battery pack aftermarket? Komoco seems to be charging a high amount to do so but not sure if aftermarket voids any warranty

I used a small cam that can record only about three days, but I still do not know how to config it automatically overwrite

Anyone encounter intermittent stoppage of recording for front cam and rear cam for A800s?

Checked my camera and realize front cam stopped recording for 40 mins today and rear cam stopped recording since 22/09

 

i highlighted it to dashcam.sg before warranty ended, tried everything they suggested and didn’t fix anything cos it eventually came back

now warranty end liao and they also don’t want to help repair or anything 

so…. Anyone encountered same issue and fixed it? If not, any recommendation?

my Thinkware F200, installed by Mitsubishi, 4 years ago when i bought the car... front camera is still ok but the rear camera has problem. The symptoms... soon after i started the car, i get the usual voice announcement... Recording will now start. but in less than 3 seconds, it announces... rearview camera is disconnected. i check the sd card, truly, there is only front recording file. there is no rear recording file at all.

occassionally, say 19 out of 20 times, there is no error. i disconnected the cable linking the front camera and read camera, connect it back. Problem still persists.

can you share if you have idea what to do? thank you.
