Car camera recommendation

Installed a800s with hardware kit but realized it will record when there is an impact. Any idea if it's possible to make it record 24/7? As my vehicle is targeted by some one at my block. Been getting chili pack thrown down and even dead rat/bird

Dead rat and bird is over the top. Got to catch the culprit.

My blackvue unable to record in parking mode, and have tried to reset it but doesnt deems to make it work. 😡

I bought 2 DDPai Mini 3 instead of a 2 channel. Compact, Cheap and good. It will record in parking mode until battery voltage drops to a certain level.

hello

is anyone using carnected dashcam installed by BM? I used to be able to see video recordings directly from carnected app on samsung s22+. Suddenly now, it shows blank (like no recording).

When I take microSD card to check on my PC, the recordings are there in "video" folder. Also I connected to dashcam on an old mobile phone and I am able to view the recording.

I have delete and reinstall the carnected app on samsung phone, allowed all permissions. I still can't view the recordings.that is preventing

Has anyone experience similar problem as me? Any solution or workaround to view on samsung phone?

Finally bit the bullet and installed car camera both front and rear today even though I bought my coe cheebic back in Xmas 2019. Using 70 Mai AS800s, front camera looks clear enough. Down side is cannot record once engine is switched off as I did not install the add on hardware kit.

Used this for 3 years already, one of the clearest cam considering it's 4k

Got an email yesterday on their latest 360° 70mai. 

Tempted. 😅

Will need a separate sim card if want the 4G connection to phone and enjoy a host of features. 

Just sharing. Not related to the business or anything here or there or anywhere.

If this was around earlier, would have opted for it instead of this :

It was recommended months ago by my friends and works fine actually. I probably may not need most of the features of this new gadget but it's kinda cute.

Good to have but not a must have.

Hi all, I am currently on thinkware f770 and the software went haywire, causing the date and time to be constantly changing. 

Anyone knows if I can use back my thinkware ivolt battery pack for the A800s?

My Mazda 3 camera is not recording the rear view after 5 years. Looking for a cheap simple replacement for insurance and better protection against claim. Saw what you have shared but I have no knowledge of such product. Able to share a cheap and basic product that will record the front and back view while driving? I don't need recording when parked. Of course where to get one installed. Thanks

I got mine from a carousell seller, dashcamsg. Inclusive of on site installation at your place of convenience.

Prices are upfront and no sudden costs added on site. Workmanship is top notch. No shortcuts and thorough to guide you with WiFi connectivity so that I can download the cam recordings directly to my phone without need to remove the sd card to transfer. 

Very patient to answer my many questions thru the carousell pm as I am like you, no prior knowledge. 

A bro recommend Autotrend in Toa Payoh (Darren) and another Aestmod in Geylang (Keeve). 

DDPai brand is another noteworthy choice for vfm. 

Suggest you look these up per your convenience. Happy shopping and learning more about cams.

i did at autotrend in 2016. not too happy with what the malaysian installer did.  butchered my cigarette lighter wires and tap from there. and with their usual mess of black tape. a professional way is to use a fuse tap and connect to the fuse box.

will not go back.

Yeah dashcam respond fast. Ask a few questions and he replied almost immediately. Offer 2 versions. The Maxview and A500s. $60 difference. I will decide next week. Good to have the cams working.
