Car camera recommendation

But ya, car cam is impt so need to get one soon coz its not reliable anymore

Actually my morbella is really good, after using for 2 years+ then start to have some reliability issues

 

Its not expensive, recording is clear even at night, always park under the sun, no issues but the downside is that have to take our memory card to download videos, no wifi function so a bit troublesome

mine also Marbella, less than 6 months the voice recording suddenly becomes very soft, as good as cannot hear, went back to the service centre but still the same after going back home to try. Lazy to go back again

I kinda like this Reco Smart from Asus. 

 

I think the design itself looks very intimidating. haha. Like a surveillance camera. So no one will go kajiao my car. 

 

It's running on Sony sensor too! So I am pretty confident with the resolution. 

 

Wait till my old school Blackvue dies, I will get this!

Yes 360, but footage for night lousy. Did you check yours?

Just got the Morbella KR5 yesterday from Qoo10 at $239 after the $20 Qoo10 coupon.

 

I got it installed today at one of the appointed workshops and it has all the essential functions of my requirement. Worth trying and highly recommended

The night video recording seems fine to me. I checked their Youtube video before I bought it on Qoo10 and I downloaded mine footage just now and no problem viewing the front vehicle at all.

 

The back is HD only but it seems ok and acceptable level to me since the back is more for evident purposes

I checked my Papago 360, the night footage is acceptable, but just realised i need a bigger SD memory card cos with motion detection switched on the 16gb SD memory card (which comes foc with camera) can only keep the recent 3 hours of recording (front n back) in the car park. HD recordings really very big size.

What do you mean by acceptable?

Please everyone if you're getting a c-channel cam, do check the recording of the rear cam before you decide to buy/install it.

 

There are some cams with the left/right view inverted. You'll be in for a shock if you got or are getting one like this.

 

If you are buying a hyundai and they are giving you a free c-channel cam, then this is a very likely outcome. Suggest to reject it.
