Consider duo cam with warranty. Unless i go for single cam. But most come without lcd screen. Lets see if will last.

Hi guys,

This may not be the right forum but has anyone heard about the MIR TECHNOLOGY M200 (2 CH) from Korea?

Cheaper and probably better?

Any brothers out there tried before?

Bo..

Haha, you know I never gd at such stuff.

But if you want to view the real thing, can find me.

This cam, even got its own app where you can view directly from your hp.

As if streaming directly.

You can actually Google youtube or Facebook on this product. A lot of customers like myself, are happy with the purchase.

After $80 only.

This price we are paying for, the quality we getting.. is really gd deal.

Example, you go and buy a chicken rice.

Unknowingly, found an abalone inside the rice. Lol

Hello.

Yeah, I park my car daily with no shades..

Furthermore, my workplace is polluted, dirty, smelly. After a long day of sun tanning, the cam still remain as cool.

Installation is simple.

Just open your A pillar, pull out the runner thingy, insert the wiring to conceal.

I did myself. .

Unless you want to link to car battery or power bank, that's another story...

Do you have any recordings of the day and night that you can help to show us here? I saw this brand at the car@expo, but wasn't impressed with the live recording shown on the TV, which was much poorer than the Korean clips shown in an adjacent TV...

Wonder why the difference.

Is there anyone using a GoPro camera as a Dash camera? I am thinking of buying a GoPro camera for my Road Trip Driving in USA. After the trip, I can use the GoPro as a Dash camera in Singapore. Any feedback is appreciated.

Don't see any issue.

I use GoPro's competitor SJCAM SJ4000.

Piang. So headache to get a good, cheap yet reliable cam with park mode. I must hve park mode but battery is the issue now. Think at most get xiaomi 100k powerbank, shld be enough juice to power the cams but front and back so far, cable hw to solve. Unless 2x20k pwrbank. Dnt knw will explode or not if under heat for too long

Power bank exploded in a car (Malaysia).

Hi Kklee, which camera is more user friendly? Also, which model or camera is cheaper? Appreciate your reply.

I didn't really compare.  I bought the SJ4000 some years back at the time GoPro was quite expensive.

I think the SJ4000 is more user friendly because it has got a small LCD behind for viewing.

My setup uses a separate suction mount to one of the clip mounting that comes with it.

This allows me to slide the SJ4000 in and out of the clip mounting easily for swapping microSD and storage in case parked in direct sunlight.

Swapping microSDs takes about 15 secs from unmounting to mounting back again - a hassle if using the waterproof case.

Will the cam drain the car battery or shorten its lifespan?

Your question to who ?

Eh... I think need to measure the temperature and identify the correct location to put the powerbank.

If black car, the car body on the hot day already 70+ celcius, I am sure inside will be hotter.
