Can not be, base on the business point of view, KlA wouldn't spent time and money just to produce a similar or even lower grade product. The K3 is a product of improvement over forte, definately, if not believe, just make a trip down C& C lol.

I was among the 40+ pax selected via Kia Facebook to try out the K3. Took some photos.

Basically, this car has all the features (memory seat, push start-stop, rear air-con, DRL etc) one would desire. What impresses me is the sound insulation, as good as a conti on the road. Very smooth pickup as well, compared to the Elantra (very rough).

The only con is the rear passenger seats. Can only sit 2 adults comfortably.

To select between Elantra and K3, it's definitely the K3.

I believe it is a separate aircon as there are dual climate controls for front and back. Anyway the air flow is acceptable, quite strong. Much stronger than VW!

So did anyone top up 5 k or 15 k here? Wats the Coe rebate? Both are guarantee Coe? How many bids?

The interior door panel of K3 is different from Forte. It's a pressed steel cover instead of flexible plastic sheet. Something similar to latest VW design. I think that's why it's much quieter than previous model.

I think since Avante, Forte, the internal of the doors are steel covered. This is definitely an edge over most Japanese who are still using the plastic sheet to prevent water intrusion.

YES MAN, You touch the point, perhaps not quite Audi levels but definitely better than cars like the Altis or the Civic, as mentioned by their review.

Infact I placed the booking base on the brochure only someway between March. [laugh]

I remember when I placed my order, they said they will fully refund the deposit if I don't like after test drive. Anyway, after the test drive, I still like it.

If didn't go for guarantee scheme and not willing to top up, after 6 bids I think you can get back full refund too.

You shouldn't pressed them to make refund, your aim is to own the car, so it should only right to pressed them to get the COE,no matter what, or unless they give up hope not you ok.

BTW, I still have some photo taken on the preview day, hope enjoy.post-72655-1373495831_thumb.jpg

Just to make thing clear, the prelaunch day was on the 19/06/2013 which is on Wed. This day I heard from them it was purposely for the first batch booking, or the early bird. I am one of them, stated on the guest name list. After that, the showroom was reinstated as before, it seem like nothing happened.

So, there is a officially launch day, may be on the 27/07/2013。bcos my SE didn't mentioned to me, but comfirm I will get the car on this day.
