Any advice on must see attraction, activities & food? December in Okinawa cool & nice. Took direct flight SG-Naha once when SQ promo Bought whole bonito pieces from stall in Makishi mrkt & seller machine shaved & package sealed for customers. Max speed limit on Okinawa Expressway is 70 kph. Had hard time sticking to this limit, lol. Edited September 19, 2017 by Baleno
Datsun366 Turbocharged September 21, 2017 Share September 21, 2017 This island is nice. Hokk is too cold, I 'hate' snow, I 'hate' driving on freezing rain. Its safe, medical is excellent, children and elderly no worries. Orion Biiru!!! Cham ah, love my beer.
Kxbc Turbocharged September 22, 2017 Share September 22, 2017 At the basement of liang court closest to the toilet, there is an Okinawan restaurant. Actually quite similar to Chinese food in a way and they seem to like pork a lot. They have a flavored rice dumpling. Sedap. As is their braised fatty pork. But note their green tea is damn expensive at $4 a cup.

Karu 6th Gear December 28, 2017 Share December 28, 2017 Returned from a 1 week trip. Drove my family around in a Serena. Spacious MPV with room for 6 of us + 2 large & 2 small luggage. Nice winter weather from 13 - 26 degC. Good Japanese & Okinawan food. Lots of interesting sights. Came back with lots of spare yen as it was cheaper than expected. Maybe also didn't spend a lot of time at the Outlet. ↡ Advertisement
