Cyclists are considered to be vehicles and have to follow traffic laws. But in an accident, TP will consider them pedestrians. I experienced that personally as I was knocked down while cycling before and the TP passing by said that making a police report is necessary as its considered as a driver knocking down a pedestrian. When they investigate, it is also investigated as the driver knocking down a pedestrian.

I'm not sure how much intelligence you are trying to portray here but I'm sure drivers like myself or even cyclist knows that we have to take evasive action if there is obstacle on the road. Are you telling me you don't? or other cyclist don't too? Or are you trying to tell me the left edge of the road always got tree branch?
