Gnahp Turbocharged November 28, 2012 Share November 28, 2012 The bicycle is on the left also considered road hogging? What do you call if a car driving 30km/h on the left lane of an expressway?
Taipan49 3rd Gear November 28, 2012 Share November 28, 2012 What do you call if a car driving 30km/h on the left lane of an expressway? Those pictures aren't on an expressway, they are on Scotts Road. The speed limit I believe is 50 or 60km/h, though in the picture there is a sign saying 40. Cyclists aren't allowed on expressways. Nzy Twincharged November 28, 2012 Share November 28, 2012 (edited) What do you call if a car driving 30km/h on the left lane of an expressway? Thats why bicycles are not allowed on expressway? Is that an expressway? If it is then I agree the cyclist is wrong. And if it is not an expressway then I don't think there is any law in Singapore that states that there is a minimum speed limit. SBS and SMRT buses regularly travel at 30+km/h on the left lanes as well. Edited November 28, 2012 by Nzy
Scoots 3rd Gear November 28, 2012 Share November 28, 2012 (edited) You are a biased driver because you can't see from a cyclist perspective. I have invited you numerously to cycle to get a 1st hand experience. I was turn down because you are not interested. You area biased cyclist becasue you cannot see from ANY other perspective besides that of cyclist Your response has always been to challenge others to ride with you so that they can 'see' how 'right' cyclists are in riding they way the do, even when they are riding AGAINST the rules stipulated. Just because others are not interested to experience cycling, that makes them biased... that's how grounded your basis are argument is.... duh I have always maintained that if cyclists are to be treated as equal road users, they must be made to be as accountable and ressponsible as a road user. They need to be just as identifiable and traceable as any other road user. And they must be held to obey the set of rules that govern their use of the road. But of course, to your biased mind, that's the biased attitude of a driver,,, again: duh End of it all... You wrote your piece I wrote mine I do not need to convince nor prove how lame and twisted your logic is. It's all here for all to read as form their own opinion. Can you differentiate invitation and challenge? As i said long time ago, what's the point of being identifiable and traceable when there is lack of enforcement of traffic rule? PengYou Clutched November 28, 2012 Share November 28, 2012 You saw a Road King, I saw two road Kings today, one after another. I believe their bold actions are resultant of gov giving too much pressure on drivers and none on cyclist. And so many bros out there focusing too much on how drivers must take care of cyclist, and not how cyclist should take care of themselves. I myself love to cycle, and I know I need to be careful to reach home to my family, but these cyclists just assume they have all right of way!! I truely understand why some drivers hope more accidents will befall, simply because LTA and Traffic police need to take actions!!! not only on drivers, but heavily on cyclist as well!! I may be bias but pic doesnt tell lies. Click on pic to zoom This one didn't stop at stop line and just go. This one didnt stop when traffic light is red.
