You have to buy a power magic pro. Otherwise the cam will keep on draining the car battery.

i have a DR590 2 channel which was supplied with my new car by cycle & carriage.

took out the SD card to look at the footage for fun. but to my horror...

I need your opinion on these guys!

1) The 16GB card only manage to record like, 5 hours of footage?! Is this normal?

2) The front video is super bad quality cant even make out the car plate until very close. Even the back camera is shaper? What's wrong?

3) How to live-view the recording angle while adjusting the camera?

The lens focusing is out. Need to RMA. Unless you know how to remove the lens and adjust the focusing.

If under warranty, bring back to wow gadgets.

Anyone has experience how long their Cellink B6 battery lasted? After 2 years or so mine is giving me beeps and doesnt seem to retain charge. Is this the expected lifespan? Intend to replace with the faster charging cellink neo but its not cheap (around $400 i heard).

You park under hot sun often? I do so and I disconnect the battery when I do so

I do, but I also switch it off when I park under sun at home. It is under seat so wont get direct sun. Does it make a difference to life span?

Park under hot sun sure makes a difference. Yours may have reached its lifespan already

I thought so too. Thanks. Quite short lifespan of just over 2 years, without using parking mode at home for front n back black view.

Went to Eclipse Auto at Kaki Bukit and got honest service. When I mentioned my B6 was beeping, the guy immediately replied beeping could be a fuse problem. He asked me whether still want to replace my Cellink B6 with the Neo and I said yes, but to check the B6 if still working. He got his staff to check and indeed was a fuse, and didnt replace with the Neo. In the end I decided not to change yet. Told him next time will change and come back to same shop. Happy to have gotten honest service.

Bro can share with me your contact for eclipse auto?

Currently I have a celink b6 having issue where it can boot up when the engine is turn on. However once I off the car it turns off also, my understanding it is unable to release battery charge and was hoping it’s the same situation as you? Went to wowgadgets and they weren’t helpful at all.

Hi all Blackvue users... like to ask something. I am given a BV DR590-2CH (non wifi) by car dealer. Is this model lasting and reliable? As there is no WiFi , it is hard for me to check on a regular basis if everything is working well or not.

I do not park under the sun a lot. Maybe just few times a month I may need to park under the sun for 5-6 hrs. And when go HDB shops then park 2-3 hrs under sun.

Parking at home / office is all covered.
