Hi,

I am selling a used DR550GW-2CH with Power Magic Pro for $290. Previously mounted on my bike, hence the clear silicone to prevent water from seeping in through the holes. Cameras work as they are supposed to of coz. Very good camera, but i've sold my bike. Car already fixed with the iTronics, hence selling this off.

Good for no-frills buyer who is looking for a 2-channel, wifi and GPS camera on the cheap. Purchased from Qoo10.

92722437 SMS/Whatsapp, thanks.

How do i edit my own post?! Keeping my cameras for now.

Neutral Newbie

Hi all,

My blackvue DR400 died on me but the power magic and adapter is still working.

Are there any compatible brands and models that can use back the existing power connector and 3.5mm video cable?

Not too keen to strip everything out and reconnect..

Finevu CR500HD

Cons - internal battery life abt 1 yr life span and no GPS(need external plug-in)

Otherwise just get the Blackvue DR600.

Hi blackvue users, how to improve wifi for downloading of videos. My buffering super long.

After downloading the selected video captures to your phone, you can playback immediately on your phone itself. I am using an iPhone5 never experience buffering before.

Try to re-update the firmware again.

Use a different memory card.

Then try to load lower firmware version.

May I double check with u, the card is formatted to Fat32 rite?

I tried v1.011 (oldest avail), can't work

from https://forum.dashcamtalk.com/threads/blackvue-dr750lw-firmware-upgrade-failure.10914/

someone adviced to copy the backup back into the card. But I did not keep a backup.

did it show any failure during the update?

one thing u can try, pull out the power cable, then try to power on. it'll be on for a couple of seconds, then off itself. leave the unit in that state for 5 minute, then plug in the power cable and try to turn it on again.

mine have to go thru this draining cycle everytime i change my settings cause i'm using a supposingly incompatible 128GB card. without which it'll stuck in a boot-loop cycle.

What happened was, I tried to update the firmware to v1.012. It 'announced' updating firmware. But it stayed there for more than 30min. I couldnt wait for that long, so I turned it off. I know it is not advisable, but updating process shldn't be so long. Probably I've corrupted the firmware by turning it off midway.

Will try your suggestion. Thanks

*I already emailed to Blackvue.com regarding this, still waiting for their reply.

Been googling since yesterday, not much help.

yeah, last when i updated the fw, i remember it took less than 5 minute, and i used the original SD card that shipped with.

i only swap out the card after the fw update.

I used the same methodto update to v1.011 in Feb, but dont know why this time it screwed up.

Hi Andy,

This is a gd cam. Having a rear cam comes in handy as I was rear ended just 2 weeks ago. I always park under sun during office hour, been using since Jan, no heat issue.
