There is also another battery, button type.

Suggest u use a multimeter and check the voltage of both batteries. And replace whichever is dead. If KS, just replace both.

Will do bro.

I will also head to Sim Lim Tower to check it out as well since it seems to be a specilaised batt and doubt many will sell.

Thank you so much.

3.7V should be easy to find. the mAh is less of a problem. it is possible to DIY portable power as well.

I can pass you this if size is suitable.

Please do not use this Ni-MH as a replacement for the Li-po battery. They are of different battery composition and characteristics. The build-in electronic charger will not properly charge Ni-MH.

Thanks bro [wave] [wave]

As per what Adrain mentioned it may not be suitable.

But really appreciate your kind gesture [wave] [wave]

Unfortunately the bottom batt holder of for the small button batt got pried off accidentally:

post-5981-1360903086_thumb.jpg

Suspect that the top & bottom holders were glued to the button batt because it was near impossible to dislodge it.

Thought of soldering it back but not an expect so any advise from bros especially Adrian?

Dismantled BV DR400G-HD II:

BTW using the multi-meter, the 3.7V 170mAh li-po batt was confirmed KIA as it has no current.

Not sure if this type of batt can be bought from this part of the world.

There were apparently some circuitry to it and seems purpose-built by Pittasoft.

Will try to solder the bottom holder first, if recommended, then try my luck getting the li-po batt.

Looks like a solder joint to me. If u need soldering services, can approach the shop at Sim Lim Tower Basement, beside the rear staircase.

I got my remote control button replaced there. They desolder the existing button and resolder a new one. Few dollars only.

Since u will be there searching for battery, bring it there.

Sim Lim Tower Basement, next to escalator. There is a battery shop. They should be able to do it for u. But a bit pricey and shop owner looks at customer dressing. Dress as student or rag n bone = better prices. [;)]

Dress in shirt and pants pays for top dollar. [shakehead]
